Decompression
What is Decompression?
Decompression Table Side View
The Decompression Table provides a non-surgical, non-invasive procedure that stretches and relaxes the spine. A Chiropractic Doctor operates a computerized table as part of a patient’s treatment plan.

How Does it Work?
For the spinal Decompression Table, patients remain clothed and lie on a motorized table, the lower half of which articulates gently.
- The patient’s hips are harnessed, and the harness is attached to the lower table near the feet.
- The upper part of the table remains in a fixed position while the lower part slides back and forth to alternate between traction and relaxation.
What to Expect:
Computerized technology safely and precisely controls the motion of the lower half of the table. With the Decompression Table, the lower back is eased back into the corrective functioning position, helping to improve alignment and decrease pain and discomfort.
Conditions Treated:
- Extreme lower back pain
- Herniated disc
- Bulging disc
