What is Spinal Manipulative Therapy (SMT)?

Spinal Manipulative is performed using highly skilled, precise movements to the vertebrae of your spine and joints. The clinical decision to use SMT will be determined based on a thorough assessment performed by Dr. Darren Strong DC CCSP.

Spinal dysfunctions are misalignments in the vertebrae of the spine which causes interference in the tissues of the bodies muscles and tendons as well as the nervous system. This presents in the body in ways such as pain, inflammation and/or restricted joint movement. SMT, commonly referred to as adjustments are performed to remove this interference and allow your body to achieve optimal nervous system functioning and restore joint health and movement
